Magnum Opus Press is a small publishing company based in London. It was set up in 2007 by industry veteran James Wallis, to produce interesting and unorthodox books that might not find a home anywhere else. It was initially based in Soho, not far from where James’s ancestors ran a publishing business at the end of the 18th century. Unfortunately that location is now an Indian restaurant. These days Magnum Opus is in Clapham, with a view of the Common and good coffee-shops within a short walk. It’s a lovely place to make books.
