About Us
Magnum Opus Press is a small publishing company based in London. It was set up in 2007 by industry veteran James Wallis, to produce interesting and unorthodox books that might not find a home anywhere else. It’s based in Soho, not far from where James’s ancestors ran a publishing business at the end of the 18th century. Unfortunately that location is now an Indian restaurant, but from his new office window he can see into the windows of Foyles, one of the greatest bookshops in the world, and that makes him very happy.
