Prince of Darkness
Prince of Darkness is a combination of a sourcebook on the fief of Glissom in the frozen north of Ellesland, and an epic mini-campaign that begins as an attempt to stop a usurper taking the throne, and ends in a chase through mountain-caverns and underground ice-chambers to save the Lands of Legend from an evil older than time.
Along the way, as they trek into the frozen wastes of the Mountains of Brack, they will encounter lost gods, undead soldiers from an ancient empire, near-insane cultists and unforgettable monsters. Finally their quest will bring them to the Lost City of Nem—sanctuary of the Darkness Elementals, and the hatching-ground for their hideous plans.
Prince of Darkness is a reissue of the classic Dragon Warriors adventure by Oliver Johnson. Adrian Bott has re-edited the text to bring it up to date, and noted RPG writer Ian Sturrock (Slaine RPG) has created a completely new section for the book, detailing the history and geography of Glissom and its various inhabitants—from the king and his heir, the wayward adventurer Prince Doron, to the disreputable families who hang around the docks in the capital, and the bands of reivers who pillage and loot the countryside with impunity.
